We at Past & Peasant believe in providing quality peasant and merchant class clothing for the Renaissance Era at reasonable prices.  

         The items we sell are constructed for regular use and wear, rather than as a costume just for show.  All our clothing and accessories are handmade by us, with few exceptions.  We provide clothing for most shapes and sizes:  Ladies from Teeny (0-3) through Majestic ++ (28-30), Lords from Small through Majestic (XXX).  

          You can walk into our store in the modern era and emerge into the past.  For the past 15 years we have been involved in research and costume creation of Renaissance and Medieval clothing and accessories.  To those who show interest in Renaissance clothing and lifestyles we explain items and usage, as well as, their cultural context.  

        Also, we readily share our knowledge with the “do-it-yourself’er” on construction of period costumes and provide hints to help in their design.  Our scrap fabric and leather go to the local quilters guilds for quilts for the needy and leather goes to schools and local artisans.

        Leather working and fabric dyeing demonstrations at events are available by arrangement.  We are available for school day projects and demonstrations.
